QUICK START GUIDE

OVERVIEW

EACH PRO ATHLETE FEATURED IN FLEX NBA HAS TWO OR THREE FLEXES. AN ATHLETE'S FLEXES AND ATTRIBUTES ARE LISTED ON A PLAYER TILE.

THE GAME ALSO FEATURES FX TILES, WHICH COMPLEMENT YOUR PLAYER TILES. FX TILES ARE COACHES, SPORTS DRINKS, SHOES, AND OTHER ITEMS THAT WILL BOOST YOUR ABILITIES IN-GAME. THEY CAN ALSO WREAK HAVOC, CONFUSE, AND WEAKEN YOUR OPPONENT’S GAME PLAN.

KNOWING WHAT FLEXES AND ATTRIBUTES EACH PRO ATHLETE HAS, YOU STRATEGICALLY PICK A STARTING LINEUP AND AN FX TILESET TO TAKE DOWN YOUR OPPONENT, OR OPP.

DURING THE GAME, YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT TAKE TURNS FLEXING ONEACH OTHER. EACH SUCCESSFUL FLEX ON YOUR OPPONENT RESULTS IN THEIR CONFIDENCE BEING REDUCED. EACH PRO ATHLETE IN THE GAME HAS A LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE MEASUREDBY CONFIDENCE POINTS, OR CP. WHEN AN ATHLETE’S CP GOES TO ZERO, THEY ARE REMOVED FROM THE GAME.

YOUR GOAL IS TO REMOVE ALL YOUR OPPONENT’S ACTIVE PLAYER TILES FROM THE GAME!

BUY EXPANSION PLAYER TILE AND FX TILE KITS TO BUILD YOUR ROSTER WITH YOUR FAVORITE PRO ATHLETES AND BUILD A DOMINANT STRATEGY TO BEAT YOUR OPPONENTS!

HOW DO YOU PLAY FLEX?

A.  PICK YOUR STARTING FIVE.

B.  PICKUP TO 10 FX TILES TO USE IN THE GAME.

C.  ROLL THE BALL DIE. HIGHER NUMBER GOES FIRST.

D.  FIRST PLAYER ROLLS THE PLAYACTION DIE. THERE ARE SIX POSSIBLE ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE: 1) STANDARD FLEX; 2) USE AN FX TILE; 3) SUBSTITUTE APLAYER; 4) UNLOCK ONE HIGHER TIER FLEX; 5) UNLOCK TWO HIGHER TIER FLEXES; AND 6) UPGRADE A PLAYER TILE.

E.  USE THAT ACTION,THEN PICK A PLAYER YOU'D LIKE TO FLEX WITH.

F.  YOUR OPP CHOOSES THEIR DEFENDER ("OPP=OPPONENT").

G.  CALCULATE THE DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR OPPONENT.

H.  REMEMBER TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT BALLIN' VS./SOFTVS., STATUS FX AND ANY PLAYER ABILITIES.

I.   STACK DAMAGE CHIPS ONTO YOUR OPP.
